I am a neutered male & I look like a American Staffordshire Terrier mix
The shelter staff think I am 1 year and 1 month old.
Hi, I’m Oscar! I’m a 42-pound boy with a beautiful black brindle coat and a big, happy smile. My life didn’t get off to the best start—I was found by animal control after being left behind in an apartment when someone moved—but I’m ready to leave that part behind and find a family who will love me forever. I’m an active, playful guy who really loves people and soaking up attention and affection. I’m still young, which means I have lots of energy and I’m still learning how to behave in the world, so I’d benefit from some training and guidance. Sometimes I can feel a little nervous, especially around big dogs, but with patience and kindness I know my confidence will keep growing. Because I’m still learning my manners, I may do best in a home without small kids for now. What I really want is a family who will give me love, playtime, and the chance to grow into the great dog I’m meant to be.
